It hurts when you see people like Kalmadi milking our money on the name of sports. As our ex hockey captain said in one of his interviews commenting on CWG mess, these politicians are running sports mafias in India and no one can do nothing about it because everyone right from top is involved in it. Pune city was thrown out of gear to welcome queen's baton relay and no one seems to care about it. Kalmadi and team was busy beating their own trumpets and making political statements.
What are we talking about? we are still so proud of participating in Queen's Commonwealth games after getting independence from her? We talk about India becoming next financial super power and playing a bigger role in shaping this world, biggest democracy in the world, then why we still need to be in the commonwealth? Do we still have to bow down to the queen? Politicians talk about national pride. What kind of national pride we are talking about? Saluting the queen, spending thousands and thousands of crors on commonwealth games just to make British raj happy and make people like Kalmadi and Dixit more rich? Is this what you call national pride?
Does hosting commonwealth games is the only way to show our national pride? What nonsense we are talking about? Just because every top politician from government is involved in this dirty game of corruption we need to bow down and accept their definition of national pride? How long we are going to keep our mouths shut? How long we are going to be mute spectators to this Tamasha which is being funded by our own money?
What kind of money we are talking about? 30,000 cores? I think we all have that much sense to understand what all could have been done with this money which could have taken India to greater heights. Where is Aam Admi? How Aam Admi is going to benefit from commonwealth games?
And the basic question we need to ask is, does people like Kalmadi deserve to be running any public office? Does he deserve to be heading Indian Olympic Association for last more than two decades? What has he done in last two decades? How many Olympic Gold medalists we have produced in last two decades?
No one is talking about one more big fish in this entire mess, her name is Sheila Dixit. The most arrogant CM I have ever seen. What is her role in this mess? Why we are not talking about her involvement? The answer is CWG is nothing but central government's initiative to loot the nation shamelessly. These games are nothing but Congress Wealth Games.
Instead of feeling proud we should be ashamed of ourselves. We should boycott these games and prove to people like Kalmadi, Sheila Dixit that enough is enough!
Lets declare public boycott on these Congress Wealth Games.
